HIP / KNEE REPLACEMENT
Description of the surgery
The Chief Surgeon penetrates soft tissue to bone, then made resection of damaged areas and their milling. Then Hip or Knee implant is placed. For example the hip replacement is implemented by three methods: traditional, conservative and resurface system (Chief Surgeon chooses the method according to the degree of hip/knee damage and the patient's age). They always work only with highly recommended type of implants - mostly from companies Zimmer and Smith and Nephew.

Waiting times
There is no waiting time at the clinic, the medical team is very flexible and always try to meet patients´ demands. The clinic itself guarantees that if a patient booked until 10th of the certain month he/she can chose any date of the next month (for example: until February, 10 – any date of the operation in March).

Length of stay
Generally three weeks (including the rehabilitation staying)
Day 1 hospitalization, pre-surgery examination
Day 2 Surgery
Day 3 and 4 ICU under the supervision of the Chief Orthopedist
Followed by 5 days under the supervision of orthopedic
